The US Court of Appeals affirmed a lower court’s 2006 dismissal of the case of the Presbytarian Church of Sudan et. al against Canadian energy company Talisman. The Court wrote that the "Plaintiffs have provided evidence that the government violated customary international law, but they provide no evidence that Talisman acted with the purpose to support the government's offenses".
